. All four luxury suites have Full Private bathrooms.

. in addition to a full bathroom, all suites have air massage tubs for two.

A professionally decorated in a nautical theme.

This comfortable suite will make you feel like a Captain! 

This is an upstairs suite. It has the following amenities:

 In this suite, you are greeted by the sun every morning! 

 It is professionally decorated in light colors with flowers and sunsets to celebrate the morning sun.

Celebrates: the history of Yellowknife and proudly displays history photos and well-known Yellowknife artists' paintings and photos on the walls. 

This suite will get you thinking about how this mining frontier town when grew from a “Gold Town” in the Canadian Arctic wilderness 

to the

"Diamond Capital of North America" 

to a 

“World Destination”

Embleton House Bring your slippers or borrow a pair from us: 

Everyone is required to leave outdoor footwear in the foyer.

In the winter outdoor footwear is especially messy and slippery on floors and stairs.

ACCIDENTAL FIRE ALARM ALERT!

When cooking does not forget to turn on the vent fan on the microwave panel. If you forget especially if it is early in the AM or late at night everyone in Embleton House will love you when the smoke alarm goes off. 

HEATING: 

If you are in suite # 4 or 5 and use the fireplace, be aware that if you turn the heat on higher the thermostat of the in-floor heat that heats your suite will turn off and you will have cold floors in your suite

When you are not in your suite or room as ask you to ---

Turn off the lights, fireplace, and all appliances. This small gesture helps the environment This keeps costs down that are passed to you the consumer and are reflected in your price here.

In winter:  Do not open windows when the temperature drops below zero . If you are too home request a heat adjustment instead. Opening windows in winter wastes heat and there is always a chance the pipes will freeze in the walls causing damage. Or the window will freeze open and will not be able to be closed without thawing it out. 

If you are drying clothes

Do not hang them on doors, fire sprinklers, furniture, or the front of the fireplace. Hang them in your bathroom on the shower rod. The humidity control fan will help them dry faster. 

We do not supply cleaning services daily. We will be entering your often to replenish breakfast foods and empty garbage recycle and compost

We will change linens once a week.  We supply towels but ask you to use them conservatively like at home. Please use towels, more than once. 

When drying items in your suite or room: 

Hang them to dry in the bathroom, where there is humidity control and they will dry faster.

To dry towels or laundry, please hang them on hooks in the bathroom or towel bars. 

Soiled items: 

 Please place soiled towels in the bathtub or a plastic bag and sit the bag outside the door.

For cleanliness, we ask that you keep your belongings off the floor.
