What to expect when you book;

The first thing you will notice is we have a “Book Now” button that gives you the ability to see all our vacancies. We chose Eviivo for our booking engine stripe payment methods based on their reputation of having high security that protects you our customer in this ever-changing world of online. Thes companies specialize in securing your private information 

NOTE: 

If you book through our web site using our booking engine you will not pay booking fees.

We are a licensed and secure business now for 27 years. 

· At the time of booking, you will be required to agree to our house policies as laid out in the booking engine. 

 
 

To stay at Embleton House B&B / Small Inn  you must provide the booking engine a valid credit card number and not a loaded credit card number. 

Your stay will be paid for 7 days before your arrival.

Cancellation policies state that you must cancel prior to seven nights your expected arrival. 

House Policies & Important Information

Check-Out

  • Standard      check-out time: 10:30 AM
  • Leave      key in door and door open.
  • Ask      staff where to store luggage if needed.
  • Suites/rooms      must be left tidy. Excessive mess will result in a cleaning fee.

During Your Stay

Breakfast: Provided daily (continental).
Guests must provide their own lunch and dinner food.
Coffee and tea available all day.

Kitchen Use (Shared or In-Suite):

  • Wash,      dry, and put away dishes after each use.
  • Staff      cleaning of dishes or kitchen areas: $12 per occurrence.
  • Leave      soiled towels in tub or laundry hamper.
  • Turn      off appliances and lights when going out.
  • Always      lock your door and take your key with you.

Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Footwear:
Remove outdoor shoes in foyer.
Do not bring heavy winter boots to your suite or rooms. Leave them by the door on the mats close to the wall in the floor or porch.

Guests:
No unregistered guests after 11 PM.

Smoking / Vaping:
On deck only.
Do not lock/unlock the door repeatedly—this disturbs guests.
Do NOT lock the door while standing outside smoking. But do lock it if you re leaving the premises. 

Allergies:
No incense, essential oils, strong perfumes, or candles indoors.
No pets allowed.

Showers:
Keep curtains inside tub.
Use clips to prevent water spills.
Water damage due to misuse will incur charges.

Laundry:
Available by appointment.
Cost: $12 per load (wash & dry).
You may do your own or ask us to do it for you.

Towels & Linens:

  • Towels:      Use more than once; hang to dry.
  • Bed      linens changed every 7 nights or upon request.

Parking:
Park on the left side near fence.
Energized parking is limited, for energized parking please reserve before you arrive. ( It is a first come first serve situation.
NOTE: We are not responsible for vehicle damage on or off property.

Cleaning / Damage Fees:
May apply for:

  • Excessive      mess
  • Damaged      cookware
  • Burned      pots/pans
  • Stove      surface damage
  • Water      overflow damage

Garbage / Recycling / Compost:
Each suite or shared kitchen has labeled containers.
Please sort items properly.
If unsure, ask us.

Internet Use:
Illegal downloading is prohibited and traceable.

TV Use:
Do not change system settings.
If a technician is required to correct changes, guests are responsible for costs.
Sign out of personal streaming accounts before departure.

  

Important Winter Warning: Some guests skip booking their final night to save money, planning to stay at the airport or in a restaurant until their flight.
In Yellowknife, this is unsafe.

  • The      airport may not always be open overnight.
  • No      restaurants or cafés stay open all night.
  • Winter      temperatures can be extremely dangerous.

Please plan your booking accordingly.

  

Driving Directions

Option 1: From Old Airport Road

  • Pass      Walmart and Canadian Tire.
  • At the      large green Northwestel building (50th Ave / Franklin Ave), turn right     onto 52 St.
  • Continue      to 52 Ave.
  • Cross      52 Ave — Embleton House is the first house on the left, surrounded      by a hedge.
  • Church      parking lot is on the right.

Option 2: From Highway 3

  • You      will see the Explorer Hotel on your left.
  • Continue      straight, pass under the walkway, and proceed to 50th Ave (Franklin Ave).
  • Go      straight through the intersection to 52 Ave.
  • Turn right     on 52 Ave and continue to 52 St.
  • Turn left     — Embleton House is the first house on the left corner.

We highly recommend travel insurance to all out guests due to the airplanes often cancelling or delaying fights for a multirole of reasons.
